Everyone from Cher to Demi Lovato to Nathan Sykes tweeted their support to all those who were affected by this tragedy.
It didn’t take long for musicians and celebrities around the world to come together and support the people of Manchester after this horrifying tragedy. Once the reports of an explosion after Ariana’s concert in Manchester and the fatalities that followed made the rounds all over social media, many of the singer’s peers reached out to express their condolences to those who were present during the incident as well as their families.
Demi Lovato tweeted out to her followers QUOTE, “Tearing up imagining concert goers losing their lives. Praying for everyone and all Arianators. My prayers are with you, Manchester.” Cher sent prayers while reminiscing QUOTE, “My prayers go out to the people of Manchester, had special times there from youth and beyond.”
Others like Fifth Harmony, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez, and Katy Perry sent out prayers and love to those who are affected by the tragedy.
Harry Styles tweeted shortly after the news, saying “I’m heartbroken over what happened in Manchester tonight. Sending love to everyone involved.” Niall, Louis, and Liam also tweeted about the tragedy.
Even Taylor Swift, who hasn’t tweeted since the end of January came out of her Twitter hiatus to send love to those affected saying, “My thoughts, prayers, and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight. I’m sending all my love.”
Although many celebs sent their condolences and prayers, others were simply shocked by the events that took place. Bruno Mars tweeted QUOTE, “No words can describe how I feel about what happened in Manchester. I don’t wanna believe that the world we live in could be so cruel.” While Sabrina Carpenter tweeted, “Just played Manchester…crazy. Really don’t have words. I’m so sorry. Thinking of all those affected.” And the list of celebrities who reached out to support Ariana, her team, concert attendees and families who were sadly affected by this horrific incident goes on and on.
We continue to send our love and prayers to the many people who were affected by this senseless act of violence. From Clevver Headquarters, I’m Drew Dorsey.
