Though some people might get offended if they were referred to as a “diva” it looks like Ariana Grande is fully embracing that new label.
As we are sure you are well aware, there have been tons of rumors surrounding AG over the last few months claiming that she is veryyy difficult to work with – among other things.
However, there’s a new quote from a recent interview with Ariana, and it sounds like she really doesn’t mind being referred to as a diva and also isn’t gonna let those rumors get her down.
UK outlet Telegraph magazine brought up the topic of her diva demands, and Ari responded saying:
"It’s weird to me because I do see myself as a fairly positive, very friendly person. So it’s kind of odd. I also think a lot of people don’t know what the word 'diva' means. If you want to call me a diva I’ll say, 'Um, well, cool.' Barbra Streisand is a diva; that’s amazing. Celine Dion is a diva; thank you."
HOWEVER, don’t even THINK of calling Ariana the dreaded b-word, because that is something she’s NOT cool with, as she added:
"But if you want to call me a b**ch, that’s not accurate. Because it’s just not in my nature."
Spoken like a true diva – and we mean that in a good way, duh!
