As Scream Queens gets closer to it’s Tuesday September 22nd premier on fox, we’ve got some details on how Ariana Grande snagged her role in the show… PLUS some new show deets!
This Friday just got a whole lot better… we’re talking some Scream Queens teasers PLUS we’ve got some ari scoop before the show airs in just 4 DAYS!
Scream Queens is for sure the most anticipated show of the fall for us here at Clevver and we’ve just learned how Ariana Grande scored her slot in the show. Ryan Murphy opened up to E!’s Kristen Disantos in recent promotion for the show in which we discovered that first off… Ryan approaches stars that he’s a fan of saying QUOTE: It always comes from a place of fandom. Always. So I just call and say, ‘Hey, will you meet with me?' Ryan continued by saying QUOTE: Here's the thing: When you tell somebody, ‘I love you. I have always loved your work and I want to show people a different side of you,' it's sort of an interesting thing that in my case I've been very lucky where they're like ‘OK.
However in Ari’s case specifically, she was more so taking the meeting to shall we say use her position to get insight on her favorite show AKA American Horror Story.
Ryan said QUOTE: “actually the truth is she was just obsessed with American Horror Story, like she was obsessed, so I think she just met me to ask questions about the new season to be honest!! I really do.”
Although Ryan dished no details about the upcoming season of AHS with Ari, he did get her excited about being a part of Scream Queens… Saying she was instantly on board, although she was only supposed to do one episode, she loved the process so much she wanted to do more!
Ari joins an a list cast of stars like Nick Jonas, Emma Roberts, Patrick Schwarzenegger AND Jamie Lee Curtis. AND In case you haven’t noticed… Crazy, wonderful things have been happening for this show, I mean people are talking, tweeting AND hard core fanning out over Scream Queens, YET no one has even seen an episode yet!!
Ryan also reviled QUOTE: There's a big baby about who's the baby in the bathtub, which opens the show.” AND promised that the whole cast will actively be live tweeting the premier come Tuesday night.
It’s going to be a two hour show and Ryan says “The second episode, which nobody has really seen, ends with a really big, big, big cliff hanger. So I'm very excited about that”
The show is planning to kill off characters early and often and by the time we make it to the end of season we may only have a few more characters standing… Trying to find out who dies and who the killer could be is a huge part of the show!
