So as if Ariana’s spot on impressions haven’t already knocked you out of this world, just wait until you hear her newest SNL skit, taking on legendary actress Judy Garland.
But then don’t forget to come back down to earth because we’ve got a whole lotta Ari to cover today. During her first-ever hosting gig on SNL last weekend, Ariana slayed the celebrity impression skit, but it’s far from over. In a newly released cut clip that didn’t make the show, Ari takes a stab at impersonating Judy Garland in a movie scenario for the "Cinema Channel" segment reenacting Judy’s 1961 fictional film Up We Go in Our Fantastic Rocket. Ariana plays Judy, the captain of a rocket ship who breaks into musical numbers whenever possible, because why wouldn’t you with a voice like that?! But as we make our way back down to earth, we arrive just in time for Ariana’s sexy new single off her Dangerous Woman album, “Be Alright,” to be released.
So if it wasn’t already before, everything WILL most definitely be alright come the near future because if this hit is any indication of what Dangerous Woman will consist of, I think we’re on the right track here.
