So it wasn’t too long ago that we found out our girl, Ariana would be playing the role of Penny Pingleton in Hairspray Live. Seriously, SO perfect right?
Well just yesterday we got a little sneak peek on what her character might look like. Taking to Snapchat, Ari showed off her “Penny-styled” look-with snapchat filters of course- and we just cannot get enough.
Sporting two long pony’s and cute bangs, Ari admitted to being super excited, but saying it was kind of like a tease because the crew can’t actually start preparing for a few more months. She even posted this pic with the caption, “a lil bit of a peek!!! Penny hurr.”

But even though Ari has to wait just a little bit longer, that didn’t stop her from showing off those powerful pipes and singing along to one of Hairspray’s famous songs, “Run and Tell That.”
However, giving us a behind the scenes look at her character wasn’t the only thing Ari shared on Snapchat yesterday. She also told fans how pumped she was to finally reach level 20 on Pokémon Go. Wow, that is some serious dedication right there. She even gave some advice to fans on how she achieved such a high level.
