Ariana Grande Posts Selfies As Penny With 'Hairspray Live!' Cast On-Set

Good morning, Baltimore and the rest of the world! The Hairspray Live cast has been teasing us with pictures on set for the past couple of weeks and now it’s Ariana’s turn.
We’re less than a month away from Hairspray Live’s debut and needless to say, the whole cast is hard at working rehearsing for their big day. For weeks now, we’ve gotten behind-the-scenes glimpses from Maddie Baillio AKA Tracy Turnblad on the show and while they’ve all been GREAT, the world has been dying to see Ariana as Penny and well, their wish has finally been granted.
On the heels of her Snapchat announcement where she revealed she just finished up ANOTHER album, Ariana dropped this adorable selfie as Penny on Instagram and simply captioned it ‘Penny.’ But that wasn’t the end of the Hairspray selfies because the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer went on to post another one on the same day and this time she managed to get Maddie in the shot!
And in case you’re looking for a full body photo of Ari in all of her sparkly Penny Pingleton glory, Maddie posted a group shot and we could not be more thankful.
