Ashley Tisdale has treated us to a new cover as part of her “Music Sessions” series on YouTube. This time she’s taking on one of her favorite songs ever, Britney Spear’s 2003 hit “Toxic”. Ashley’s sultry cover got a little help from her husband Chris French on the guitar- take a look.
Ashley’s version is a drastic departure from Britney’s original pop beat, but we gotta say it totally works! As of now, there’s no word from Britney Spears herself regarding the cover, but we’re pretty sure it would get her stamp of approval.
Ashley’s previous Music Session episode saw her bring in her bestie Vanessa Hudgens for a duet of “Exes and Ohs” by Elle King.
