Avengers: Infinity War is acting like The Hulk and smashing everything in sight
After 10 years and 18 movies, the beginning of the end is finally here. Avengers: Infinity War is the cultivation of years of going to the theater and seeing our favorite Marvel comics come to life and it’s definitely getting the box office praise it deserves. Don’t worry, no spoilers ahead. Thanos demands our silence, remember?
When we first got wind that every single character that we had met so far would finally be meeting to fight off the notorious Thanos we could barely contain our excitement. With all of the biggest names coming together it was obvious that this new installment would be a major success, but after only three full days in theaters it’s on track to crush just about every single box office record.
After one solid weekend, Infinity War has already brought in a whopping 630 million dollars worldwide and became the biggest global opening of all time. To put this in perspective, the previous owner of this title was The Fate of the Furious that earned 542 million dollars.
We don’t even want to think about how much money it’s going to continue to make as more and more people flock to the theater, especially since it hasn’t even opening in China and Russia yet which will easily double their success.
The action-packed movie is also on track to become the fastest film to earn one billion dollars and to have the highest gross EVER.
But are we really surprised about all of this? Let’s get real, with huge stars like Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chadwick Boseman and Scarlett Johansson combined with the fact that it’s a massive franchise, it was only a matter of time before it took over. The only way we can see any movie breaking Infinity War’s records is it’s unnamed sequel coming out next year!
