Britney Spears & Nick Jonas To Perform At 2016 VMAs

It’s been nine years since Britney Spears last performed at the MTV VMAs, so saying that we’re excited to see her take back the throne is a bit of an understatement.
The 2016 VMAs are coming up in just a matter of weeks and the show just dropped the biggest bombshell EVER. Come August 28th, 2016, Britney Spears will take the stage to perform ‘Make Me’ for the very first time with none other than her musical partner-in-crime on the song, G-Eazy.
Both the award show and singer made the announcement with a video featuring only Britney’s voice and a Burmese python – who, by the way may or may not be the same snake that took the stage with her back in 2001.
Okay, I can’t be the only one that got chills from that video. Brit Brit will be joining the likes of Rihanna – who was previously announced as a performer and recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award – and Nick Jonas.
That’s right. About a day after Britney’s announcement, Nick revealed that he will also be performing at the VMAs and he won’t be doing it alone. The singer will be joined by Ty Dolla $ign as they perform his latest single, ‘Bacon.’
