BTS Teases Collab With The Chainsmokers, But Some Fans Are NOT Happy About It

It seems like just yesterday that thanks to the A.R.M.Y., BTS took home the Top Social Artist at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. I lost my voice, but I was so proud.
I wasn’t the only one who freaked out over BTS at the BBMA’s though. They taught my friend Laura Marano some choreography, hung out with Halsey and definitely got some love from The Chainsmokers. Back in May they tweeted this photo saying “Love these dudes! See you guys this summer @BTS_twt”
Well they for sure saw the boys from BTS and worked on a new song as well. It was confirmed on BigHit Entertainment’s Twitter last night that the song will be featured on BTS’ upcoming album and the internet lost all chill. Andrew Taggart worked with some of the BTS rappers to create a track that we are surely going to love. According to Billboard, the song will reportedly be titled ‘Best of Me” and “is an energetic EDM track that matches The Chainsmokers typical style.” Oh yea. We’re so ready to hear this and see them dominate the charts. While we are excited about the new song, some fans aren’t to thrilled with The Chainsmokers after they posted a now deleted interview. In the interview, they asked Alex Pall if he brings his dog along with him on tour. He said, “I try to but she’s really like really ill behaved…I mean if she could come anywhere I’d bring her too, well I don’t know if I’d bring her to China.” One fan tweeted, “the chainsmokers are just gonna act friendly w bts (an asian group) and collab with them,, while making racist comments against asians???” Uh oh. Back to BTS though. Their new album, “Love Yourself: Her” will be released next week on the 18th and there is even more news to celebrate.
BTS will be performing an exclusive comeback show on the 21st at 8:30 PM Korea Standard Time and fans will get to see them perform their new songs live. Allkpop.com reports that “They'll be talking about how BTS came to be, their album productions, and more. The show will broadcast on Mnet in Korea, on Mnet Japan in Japan, on JOOX and iflix in Southeastern Asia, on VIKI in the USA, as well as Mnet's YouTube.” So basically, there is absolutely no reason for you to miss any of this. So it won’t be long until we can hear the new album which features the collaboration with The Chainsmokers, and then see them perform live on the 21st. Next week is gonna be awesome.
