Demi Lovato is embracing her Latina roots in her upcoming new song.
Demi Lovato JUST dropped her album, but she already has a new song in the works.
Demi Lovato’s sixth studio album “Tell Me You Love Me” has only been out for two months and Demi is already teasing us with a new song. The album was everything we could have hoped for and we may or may not be counting down the days until her “DEMI X DJ KHALED TOUR” kicks off.
We know by now to always expect the unexpected from Demi, which is why we are seriously freaking out about her latest Instagram post that gives us a teaser clip of her brand new song. The catch is that this song is set to be all in SPANISH and will be featuring the iconic Luis Fonsi.
Luis is one of the hottest singers right now, and hold the title for most watched video in YouTube history for his hit song “Despacito”, that currently has over 4.3 BILLION views. Ever since Despacito topped the charts, there has been a huge influx in Spanish songs hitting the radio.
Popular girl group Little Mix even recently collaborated with CNCO for their song “Reggaetón Lento” and we have seen more Spanish influences in pop music, and we are totally not complaining.
Demi has always been vocal about her Latina roots and wanting to connect more to heritage. We first heard about Demi and Luis’ collab last month, so we were so excited to finally get a teaser of what they’ve been working on. While Demi posted a 10-second clip on Instagram showing off her Spanish
Luis announced the name of the song, “"Echame La Culpa" which translates to “Blame Me”, and said that it’s being released on November 19!
We cannot wait to hear the song in its entirety, we know it’s going to be a good one.
