Camila Cabello QUITS Fifth Harmony & Group Gives Official Statement

The day we all new was coming has arrived sooner than expected, singer Camila Cabello has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.
The remaining four members of Fifth Harmony, Dinah, Allie, Normani and Lauren announced Camila’s split from the group early this morning via Instagram. The message to fans reads, “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed by her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.” The four girls confirmed they will be continuing on as a foursome together for their fans and they are excited about the future.
Are we the only ones that noticed the part where the band learned about Camila’s parting from her “reps”? That seems a bit impersonal for such a close group of girls.
And just hours before the announcement, the fivesome performed together at Y100’s Jingle Ball 2016 in Camila’s hometown of Miami, Florida.
Rumors of tension between the girls has been piling on for some time now. It’s safe to say no one is surprised by the split, as Camila has been enjoying her solo projects including a duet with Shawn Mendes and a charting hit with Machine Gun Kelly.
Billboard has reported that the day of the split, December 18, marked the end of Camila’s contractual obligations to the group and therefore offered her a time to exit.
