Shawn Mendes DEFENDS Camila Cabello Amid Fifth Harmony Drama

Shawn Mendes defends Camila Cabello over her leaving 5th Harmony.
Camila is getting some serious support from her former collab partner *slash* rumored fling, Shawn Mendes.
Shawn took to twitter to comment on Camila’s recent exit from Fifth Harmony by tweeting QUOTE, “‘Pursue what makes your heart pound, happiness is our responsibility’ beautifully said.” He also attached Camila’s statement to the tweet, so it sounds like he’s in support of absolutely everything his “I Know What You Did Last Summer” duet partner wrote.
This, of course, all came after the girls of 5H wrote a statement claiming Camila QUOTE “refused” to have group meetings about the future and to make a third album. So does this mean Shawn and the rest of the 5H girls are going to start a bitter feud of their own now? Probably not, but Shawn and 5H will ALL be performing at Rockin Eve in LA next week, so it’s probably safe to say they’re at least in for a pretty awkward run-in come New Year’s.
But in other Shawn Mendes news, his fans are getting an early Christmas present from the Canadian singer in the form of a live album dropping December 23rd. The album, called “Live At Madison Square Garden” was recorded during his “Illuminate” show back in September, and will feature all of his biggest hits, including “Mercy,” “Treat You Better,” and “Stitches,” as well as a few new bonus medleys. If you’re a fan of Shawn but not so hot on live albums, go back and watch his recent live SNL performance, because it is everything and it will leave you wishing it could be December 23rd already, I promise.
