Celebs React To Actor Burt Reynolds' Death

Burt Reynolds, who was known for so many incredible cinematic masterpieces like Boogie Nights, Deliverance, The Longest Yard and many more passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. According to Us Weekly’s source, Burt went into a cardiac arrest at a hospital in Florida and passed away with his family by his side.
Burt’s agent Todd Eisner confirmed to CNN that he did indeed suffer a cardiac arrest. As soon as the news of Burt’s passing made the rounds on social media, many of his peers took to their Twitters to remember Burt.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was one of the first to tweet about Burt. He wrote QUOTE, “Burt Reynolds was one of my heroes. He was a trailblazer. He showed the way to transition from being an athelete to being the highest paid actor, and he always inspired me. He also had a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his family.”
Reba tweeted out a photo of herself and Burt and wrote QUOTE, “My good friend has started a new journey. Rest in peace, my friend. I’ll never forget the wonderful times we spent together.” Paul Wesley tweeted, “Burt Reynolds was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever worked with. He took me under his wing when I was first starting out as an actor and offered friendship, advice, and guidance. I’ll never forget how much that meant to me.”
While Burt’s ‘Boogie Nights’ co-star Mark Wahlberg simply tweeted, “Rest in peace to a legend and a friend.”
