By now you’ve probably seen Kim Kardashian’s Instagram stories where she interviews her sisters about her weight. Kim is thrilled when Kendall tells her how skinny she is and that it looks like she isn’t eating.
Kim is also ecstatic when Khloe calls her anorexic, and reveals she is 119 pounds right now. These videos instantly triggered the internet, and now celebs are chiming in. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz took to her Insta story to react to Kim’s videos writing, “Kim Kardashian saying what she weighs and her sisters complimenting her being so skinny is like eating my brain rn.” Stephanie continued with a personal story writing, “There’s only one time in my life when I ever weighed 119 pounds. It was right in the middle of a terrible relationship, and intense eating disorder, and I thought that I could be thinner and look even better.” She went on to offer support to others.
That’s when Shameless star Emmy Rossum chimed in. Emmy responded to Stephanie’s story writing, “I love you and I support you and you’re beautiful and strong and powerful.” Emmy continued with her own personal weight loss trauma, “The only time I was 119 pounds is when I had MONO. On a magazine shoot and everyone was ‘freaking out over how good’ I looked. I had lost ten pounds and was gaunt and sick and felt faint… it totally messed with my head… you never know what someone is going through. If you’re having a tough time with body image, I promise you’re beautiful and this feeling will pass.” Emmy then offered advice on how to kick any negative thoughts by using self-care including taking a bath, doing yoga, or watching your favorite movie.
Emmy also shared that famous Kate Moss quote reading, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”. She added her thoughts on the quote writing “WRONG” on the screen and then listing her fav foods like “avocado toast” and “fries”. Yes to this.
Stars including The Good Place’s Jameela Jamil have been sharing this i_weigh account meme that mentions a series of important females in history- and notes that no one knows how much they weighed when they changed history.
