Kim Kardashian defended herself after being called homophobic
She’s never afraid to clap back
Kim Kardashian got herself wrapped up in another scandal recently after she shaded model Tyson Beckford on Instagram.
When a paparazzi pic of Kim wearing a crop top and leggings was posted online, Tyson weighed in on the fit. He commented QUOTE: “Sorry I don’t care for it personally. She is not real, doctor f*cked up on her right hip [vomit emoji].”
Kim just couldn’t let it slide. She decided to respond with a diss of her own, writing QUOTE: “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it,” followed by sips tea emojis and the painted nail emoji.
She faced a lot of backlash from the comment, and people accused her of being homophobic by insinuating that Tyson was gay.
Tyson denied being gay but said he supported LGBT rights because it’s QUOTE: “just the human thing to do.”
Still, people were pretty mad at Kim for suggesting that the only reason a man wouldn’t like her body is because he’s gay. The reality star responded to the criticism during a radio interview with Real 92.3 on Thursday. When asked how she felt about Tyson’s comments, Kim told the hosts QUOTE:
“Really dude, like you're gonna body shame me? Like, okay, okay. People were sending me stuff on his page and he keeps on going and going and going and I'm just like, 'Dude, that's so female lame to me. That's just lame to me. And for anyone to say that I am homophobic for the comment of saying 'sis' like, I'm sorry, I'm the least [homophobic]. All my best friends are gay, I support the community, I love the community, they love me. That has nothing to do with this.”
Khloe also defended Kim against the homophobic accusations. Last week when she appeared on Extra, she told the host QUOTE: “I was with her when that was going on. What I hate is that people are saying that she is homophobic for that, but no one is saying that we shouldn’t also body shame woman. I don’t know if people are saying that about him, but I just know people are attacking Kim about being homophobic and she’s anything but, so that’s ridiculous.”
So there’s some damage control going on on both sides, but honestly, it seems like things got blown way out of proportion. But whose side are you guys on? Do you think it was fair for Kim to clap back, or should she have just stayed quiet? Let us know down in the comments, then click here to see why fans are saying Kim betrayed one of her sisters.
