Charlie Puth Shades Selena Gomez & Mocks Justin Bieber?

If you’re a huge Charlie Puth fan like me, then you were probably waiting for the official “We Don’t Talk Anymore” video to be released to find out if Selena was going to make a cameo. I mean, they did collab together on the single, and perform a live duet together, so it makes sense right?
Buut unfortunately, she doesn’t make an appearance. Instead another pretty brunette is seen playing the part of Charlie’s lost love and fans are literally losing their mind. Everyone was wondering why Sel isn’t in this video, but after a ton of unanswered tweets, Charlie finally gave the most perfect answer ever. Replying to a fan comment on Twitter, Charlie flat out wrote “because we don’t talk anymore.”
Hah, good one Charlie. Obviously, he’s probably not throwing shade towards Selena by not featuring her in the video, maybe she just didn’t want to be in it? Either way, fans are still begging for a second one to be released.
However, on the bright side, if you haven’t seen the music video yet, let me just tell you, it is REALLY cool. I mean for realz. The whole thing is done with a split screen to follow a couple in the aftermath of their breakup. Basically, a day in the life of Charlie vs. a normal girl showing how they are both trying to move on, but still wondering what could have been.
Pretty creative, right? But since we’re on the topic of Charlie Puth. The same day that Charlie tweeted about the video release, he also sent out a tweet that has a lot of people wondering if he’s mocking Justin Bieber.
We all know him and the Biebs probably don’t have the best of friendship. I mean, I’m just assuming here. Remember how Charlie yelled “f*ck you, Justin Bieber” during a concert last May?? Then, later apologized on Twitter and then deleted the tweets??
Well this time, Charlie KIND OF contradicted one of Justin’s tweets when it comes to songwriting. First, Justin tweeted, “If u write music takes notes from the greatest writer to ever do it Jason Boyd aka Poo bear.” Okay…so he’s praising his friend, cool. Well, shortly after, Charlie tweeted, “If you write music…write from your heart. You don’t take notes, you hear them.” Soo, although he’s not tweeting directly at Justin, I think we can all draw our own conclusions.
