The rumor started on Twitter thanks to a slew of shipping fans who swore Selena and Charlie were more than just friends. One fan tweeted – “Selena and Charlie. I've been waiting. Lol. I don't care. I think he's the one she's been texting.” But then Charlie was quick to silence the rumor tweeting back - “she's just my friend guys lol relax.” But of course fans weren’t convinced so then Selena jumped in to try and put out the fire tweeting - “Before it begins, he is a good one. He is MY FRIEND only lol”
You can’t get any clearer than that. So sorry Selena and Charlie shippers, but it’s not happening.
Charlie posted another photo with his FRIEND along with some kind words saying QUOTE - “The realest and most down to earth person I know. good to know you @selenagomez your album is going to be incredible!” Very sweet, but in the friend zone they shall remain.
