More evidence has been tacked onto the Justin Bieber/Selena Gomez duet Snapchat leak of DJ Snake’s track ‘Let Me Love You,’ which brings us one step closer to hearing the duet we’ve all been waiting for.
The Snapchat clips, the teasers… all signs are pointing straight to a JELENA DUET, so what gives, Snake?! JUST GIVE US A RELEASE DATE ALREADY.
Selena Gomez and DJ Snake may have a few secrets up their sleeves regarding his newest track “Let Me Love You”, which originally featured Justin Bieber’s vocals on the album version of the song, but these teasers being dropped left and right are clearly speaking for themselves.
Earlier this month, just before Snake dropped his album Encore, Sel took to Snapchat to tease a 2- second clip of his track “Let Me Love You” which seemed to feature her distinct vocals. Fans were quick to assume that this track may have intended to be a Jelena duet, in which JB’s version was picked up, however, just yesterday, Snake himself pulled the same stunt with a longer teaser of the song, even more clearly featuring Selena’s vocals.
JUST SPIT IT OUT ALREADY, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO TELL US?! This newest clip brings even more speculation as to whether or not the original version of the song was a duet, and why it was never released in the first place. One possible assumption for holding off was that Snake didn’t want the song’s release to be taken as a publicity stunt following the Instagram War between the exes that recently went down, and that he’s been waiting to release the duet version until the feud blows over.
But whether that theory is true or not, the famous feud may have also not sat well with another artist. Although Selena has publicly stated an apology, the drama seems to be far from over between her and Charlie Puth. Charlie seems to have taken a few jabs at Sel, implying that the two really ‘don’t talk anymore’, including that cold hard social meeds ‘Unfollow.’
More evidence that Charlie wants nothing to do with the feud or the parties involved includes not involving Selena in the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” music video, and a series of subtle tweets, directed toward an artist in the business. Charlie took to Twitter last week to write QUOTE, “The term "narcissistic" sure sounds a lot like "artist" nowadays. Bummer... But I believe we still inspire each other everyday!”
So it’s not exactly clear what urged Charlie’s subtle social media rage in the first place, but we’re only hoping this doesn’t affect their friendship in the long run, and even more importantly, this whole Jelena duet release… but on that note, I’m gonna turn this over to you guys, do you think there’s a whole other version of the song to be released, and what’s up with Charlie’s tweets… intended for Selena or just a general assumption?
