Cole Sprouse hinted at the future of Jughead and Betty in a new interview
And it’s good news for Bughead fans
We still have a long way to go before the season three premiere of Riverdale, but the cast keeps dropping more and more hints.
Fans were left on a cliffhanger when Jughead, played by Cole Sprouse, asked Betty to be his Serpent Queen in the season 2 finale. She didn’t give him a definitive answer in the episode, but from what Cole just revealed, we’re guessing she said yes.
In a recent interview, Cole talked about the future of his character and his relationship with Betty. He told TVLine QUOTE: “They’re teenagers, so we have to tread carefully into that. But they’re each other’s biggest allies, and they’re quite a support group. It’s a nice way of ushering Betty and Jughead’s world into the Serpents.”
The Bughead fans can breathe a sigh of relief. And for all the Choni fans out there, there’s more good news. Director Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Toni and Reggie in season three. There’s no word yet on what’s going to happen with Archie and Veronica, but knowing Riverdale, there will be plenty of drama.

Season three will premiere on the CW on October 9, but until then, you can watch the first two seasons on Netflix.
So, what do you guys think? Will Archie and Veronica stay together in season three, or is their relationship doomed?
