Cole Sprouse Reveals Which Riverdale Question He HATES Being Asked

Cole Sprouse is used to getting asked some heavy questions while promoting Riverdale, but there’s one that he never wants to hear again…
Cole recently spoke to Elle about that dreaded question, telling the mag QUOTE, "The question we get all the time as a cast is, 'Are you a Betty or Veronica person?' I don't like that...I think it's hard and it also puts the cast members against one another in a strange and competitive way that makes me a little uncomfortable. Most of our cast don't even answer it.” Fair enough!
One Riverdale question Cole doesn’t mind answering, however, is who on the show he ships. He told Elle QUOTE, "I actually really ship Betty and Archie. When I would read the Archie comics when I was younger, I was rooting for Betty and Archie way over any alternative. [I think I would have seen] that long-lived, childlike romance from two people knowing each other since youth as probably quite romantic. I am a sucker for that childhood romance narrative."
That’s probably really hard to hear for all those Bughead shippers out there, but it’s also pretty adorable to hear that Cole is such a hopeless romantic at heart--so we’ll take it!
Besides the whole Betty and Veronica thing, another issue Cole recently took aim at is the rampant cultural appropriation at Coachella. He tweeted out his opinion on the matter, writing QUOTE, “Your Coachella outfit is appropriating 100% of a Native American headdress for someone who claims to be 2% Choctaw.” Trust Cole to say something as true as it is hilarious, shutting down those Coachella posers in one mic-drop of a tweet.
