Riverdale's Lili Reinhart & Miss Piggy FEUD Over Cole Sprouse?!

We are counting down the days until the Riverdale season two premier on October 11, and we honestly can’t believe it’s almost here! Although we have already waited 141 days, the next 12 are going to probably feel like they last years.
Thankfully, the cast has been super active on social media and promoting the new season which means we have had TONS of super adorable moments to make up for the fact that we have had to wait so long for season two.
We all know that the cast is best friends both on-screen and off, so much so that there are reports practically every day saying that Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse, who play Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones, are in a relationship in real life!
Not only have they never really denied the rumors, but they don’t seem to be doing anything to stop us from assuming that there’s more to their friendship than what meets the eye. I mean, didn’t you see their hilarious makeup tutorial spoof that we talked about yesterday?!
Although Vanessa Morgan, who will bring new character Toni Topaz to life on season two, said that Toni may come in between Jughead and Betty, there’s someone else who is trying to come in between Cole and Lili in real life.
Earlier this week Lili tweeted out her usual hilarious thoughts, saying “9/26/2017, 9 pm: Dear diary, I'm still thinking about how Miss Piggy walks all over Kermit. And he lets her! It's so messed up, diary.”
The Tweet got a lot of attention, but Lili probably wasn’t expecting a reply from Miss Piggy herself. The famous pig replied to Lili saying that she was done with Kermit and wanted to know if Lili could give her Cole’s number, can you believe that?!
We didn’t even know that Miss Piggy and Kermit broke up, but it was actually reported that the couple called it quits in 2015! In an interview with E! News Kermit even said “You know professionally, our relationship is great. You know, personally, Miss Piggy and I—we have our own lives.”
We’re guessing that Miss Piggy hasn’t given Kermit a second thought since the breakup, especially since her reply to Lili was so forward with her request.
Cole even got involved simply replying to both the girls saying “Ladies please”
Although his response didn’t really give us any insight into what would come of this complicated love triangle, but it does make us hope that there could be a potential Muppets/Riverdale cross-over in the future.
