Demi Lovato BREAKS DOWN During Emotional First Performance of "Sober"

Demi Lovato got emotional during her first performance of her brand new song Sober over the weekend.
It takes a lot of courage to release a song like Sober, but a lot more to perform it in front of thousands.
On Thursday last week Demi Lovato released one of her most revealing songs yet. In her track ‘Sober’ she opens up singing, “Momma, I'm so sorry I'm not sober anymore. And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. To the ones who never left me, we've been down this road before. I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore.”
She received an outpouring of love and support across social media for being so candid about her struggles.
And on Sunday she took the Rock in Rio festival stage to perform the emotional ballad for the first time.
She shared a clip from the event on Twitter and Instagram of her fighting back tears while playing piano and singing the part of the song about her fans.
She captioned the video QUOTE, “Tonight I took the stage, a new person with a new life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It will never be forgotten ❤️”
Demi has always been a very open and honest artist, sharing a lot of her personal battles with her audience. Her fans are some of the most supportive and accepting group, so it’s totally understandable why the cheers from the crowd caused her to get choked up.
Her mom even commented on the video QUOTE, “I watched the whole show on livestream and I’ve never seen you look more beautiful or sound so amazing. Your best show ever. You have an amazing team now!!! One who truly cares about YOU and it shows in how happy you are. You are free!!” to which Demi replied, “I love you momma!!!” ()
