Demi was recently at a concert for WE day, which is an annual celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. And while it was super kind of Demi to donate her time to such a great event, the stage was not so kind back. Take a look.
You can hear the audience gasp as Demi trips, but amazingly she doesn’t completely fall on her face, and almost instantaneously recovers. Though she must have been feeling slightly embarrassed in the moment as anyone would, she took it in stride and proudly threw her hands in the air after declaring, “I’m okay!” The whole thing, though scary for a second, turned out to be a pretty adorable moment that got her some major applause from the crowd. And Demi more than made up for the literal slip-up when she later belted out “Stone Cold” to the audience and was #flawless.
Demi also gave a heartfelt speech during the concert, telling the audience QUOTE, “Tonight we unite for a better world. Maybe that is a big dream, but we know that all big movements starts with simple actions and steps right? For a lot of us, though, it's hard to know where to start. Whether you're a family that cares about certain issues or a school that wants to give back, the WE Movement helps to support your passion for a better world. Living WE proves that. When individuals come together we have incredible power. Together WE can change the world.” With powerful sentiments like that Demi can trip all she wants and we’ll still hang on every word she says.
