Lovato rocked the VMA’s stage with a remix of “Cool for the Summer” featuring a surprise appearance by Iggy Azalea, but apparently there were some people who were surprised by the sexy performance, and some celebrities (cough) Pink that weren't that weren't impressed!
so DEMI put a halt to all the talkers on twitter by saying
• Cool For The Summer may not "save kid's lives" or "inspire" but I'd say Skyscraper & Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people cope with mental illness. VMA's are sexy and fun. There's a time and place for everything.

She also spoke with MTV to shed some light about what this album is all about take a look
She finished up her tweets by letting fans know what they can look forwards to saying
I'm excited for you all to hear the inspirational/honest/soulful songs on this album. #Lionheart #Father #StoneCold #Confident... Oct. 16!!
I agree with Demi there is a time and place for everything. A time to inspire which all Lovatics know she has been completely transparent with her ups and downs in life. and also a time to have fun and be care free or as Demi would say it be liberated. So I give Demi a huge high 5 and cant wait for Confident to come out! But enough about what I think.
