Demi Lovato Defends Critics Upset With Lauren Jauregui Over Her Marijuana Instagram Post!
I think it’s safe to say that Lauren is lit!
So you may remember that Lauren Jauregui got into trouble back in 2016 for marijuana possession at an airport in Washington. Back then Lauren’s lawyer denied reports that she was arrested and told People Magazine that Lauren was QUOTE, not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance. She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system.” Now marijuana is currently legal in quite a few states including California and Lauren took to Instagram yesterday to remind us yesterday that she is still down to light it up. The 21-year-old posted a picture of herself lighting what appears to be a joint on Instagram yesterday and captioned it, “In my elements.” While she technically didn’t do anything wrong if she was in Cali like it seems, some people still criticized her for ~promoting drug use~ to her 5.6 million IG followers.“I love you no matter what, I just hope you know what you’re doing,” someone commented. Another person added, “And this picture is for… What? To show that smoking is bad or good?” Demi Lovato, however, jumped in to defend the “Strangers” singer. She first simply commented,
“stunning,” but when she realized how much hate Lauren was getting she added, “Y’all stop telling her what to do and what not to do. Girl live your life.” Let them know Demi and honestly Lauren is a grown woman who is free to live her life. The most important part of this photo to me is that it looks like she is writing and I see recording equipment too which means new music is coming our way!
