Iggy Azalea DEFENDS Demi Lovato for Lingerie Instagram Post

Demi Lovato and Iggy Azalea might not be the first pair of celebrities you think of when someone says celeb best friends, but they’re definitely super tight, even if they don’t always flaunt it. So when entertainment editor Mike Wass came for the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer’s recent Instagram pictures, some of which include her modeling lingerie, Iggy stepped right up to defend her.
Mike said in a since-deleted tweet, “Demi turning into an Instagram model is 2018’s most depressing development.”
Iggy got wind of the man’s rude words and fired back by replying QUOTE “All I read was ‘a woman feeling confident, beautiful and happy in her own skin on social media and that depresses me.’ THAT’S depressing, but unfortunately not a development. #FlauntItDemi”
Demi didn’t directly respond to Mike’s criticism but did thank her bestie for having her back.
She tweeted QUOTE “I you @IGGYAZALEA.. thanks for always having my back f*cking love you. I don’t understand why people feel the need to express their negativity on the internet for the world to see as if the world actually gives a sh*t about their nasty opinions anyway. If you don’t have anything meaningful to say, don’t say it. Ask yourself who is benefitting from your tweet and what it is you’re actually gaining from it.”
The man in question eventually deleted his tweet and apologized for his words saying QUOTE “Deleting my tweet. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm sorry.”
It’s pretty common to see celebrities feuding with each other for whatever reason, so it’s really nice that Demi and Iggy have a such a solid friendship and that they’re always there for each other no matter what.
