Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera perform their powerful anthem “Fall in Line” at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
Someone turn the water off cause these pipes are bursting.
As promised two of our favorite Disney exports performed a brand new song together on the BBMAs stage. Get ready to fall in love with Demi and Christina’s dramatic TV debut of “Fall in Line”. Dressed in matching black trenchcoats the two performed the feminist song from a platform on the stage with male backup dancers marching in line around them. Brace your eardrums for another taste of the diva-off that is Demi and Xtina.
The song peaked when the stage turned into an eclipse and the backup dancers closed in on Demi and Xtina. When they were surrounded the dancers burst into an eerie applause. The song’s lyrics seem to be all about doing the OPPOSITE of falling in line. Xtina and Demi flex their vocal chords in the name of the strength and the courage to speak your mind.
The end of the performance came with a twist: nostalgic videos of childhood and an emotional head-to-head embrace from the two singers. “Fall in Line” is the second single from Christina’s upcoming comeback album “Liberation”. It’s safe to say we’re ready to tackle this week after a vocal pep talk from these two divas. Tell us below what you thought of Demi and Xtina’s powerful performance at the BBMAs?
