Demi Lovato has channeled her Texan roots and gone full country, dropping a brand new duet with country music star Brad Paisley, and let’s just say things are gettin’ pretty heated.
So if you thought you’d never see Brad Paisley and Demi Lovato perform together after their “Stone Cold” collab, well, think again!
Sometimes musical collabs go well, but other times, they go so well that a second collab is created, and all is once again well in the world. That’s exactly what happened after Demi Lovato and Brad Paisley performed her single “Stone Cold” together during the iHeart Radio Awards last month, and it was such a hit that the two decided to record their own duet called “Without A Fight”, and let me just say that this deadly combination of insane PIPES, sexy lyrics and killer guitar solos will blow your mind. And just as they should be, both Demi and Brad have been excitedly tweeting, Instagramming, snapchatting, pretty much dowsing social media with the new release. Demi tweeted out earlier this morning, saying QUOTE, “Sooo I did this thing with @BradPaisley and now it’s finally out! Go get #WithoutAFight!”
Brad also took to Instagram to share a video listening to the song on the radio, including the caption, “There’s really nothing like the first time you hear it on the radio, @ddlovato”. He even gushed about recording and performing with Demi, saying, “Working with Demi is quite amazing. I mean, we're talking about a singer that I really believe has no limit to the notes she can hit. She can hit notes we can't hear. You'd have to be a dog to be able to hear some of the pitches that she's able to get to with her voice.”
He also talked about this project being her first foray into country and that this is only the beginning for her, saying, “I think she has just taken the music industry by storm, and she is an artist that is just getting started. She's from Dallas, and I have a feeling she's probably here to stay. She will probably do more things in my format.”
Pretty sure Demi would crush any genre of music she attempts, considering the success of this track already, so hopefully there’s a lot more country crossovers where that came from! “Without A Fight” will be the first single off of Brad’s forthcoming album this year, so be on the lookout for even more of those guitar shredding solos.
