Demi Lovato reminds angry fans in a lengthy Twitter post- she’s human too!
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas attended a launch event in NYC yesterday and the fan situation got a little out of hand.
The talented bestie duo whom are teaming up for their Future Now Tour this Summer attended the Honda Civic Tour Artists Announcement and North America Launch Event in New York City Tuesday. And by the way how adorbs are Demi’s glasses and how hot does Nick look here? Demi and Nick excitedly announced at the event their tour has been selected as this year’s Honda Civic Tour. And while it should have been a happy occasion they were greeted by some angry and rude fans prior to the event. We all know Demi adores her Lovatics so things must have been really CRAY for her to pen an open letter to her fans on Twitter. After the negative encounter Demi wrote in part QUOTE, “I had two instances where I had rude things yelled at me because I didn’t stop for every single person. When stuff like that happens it actually really sucks. It’s not okay and just remember, I’m used to getting hate but I’m human too. So please.. Take your negativity else where.” And you know what? We don’t blame Demi. We might get overwhelmed in those situations as well! If we’re all going to enjoy our Demi for many more decades to come we also gotta take care of her, right? Demi hilariously retweeted a fan who agrees with our sentiment, “Thank you for your parents do not use condoms” with this woman crying meme collage included. Yes. Thank goodness Demi’s keeping her humor throughout all this! During the press conference at the Honda event Demi shared how thrilled she is to tour with Nick, “Being able to tour with someone you have considered one of your best friends for 9, 10 years, you don’t get to do that often.” Can we come Demi?
