Demi Lovato is set to take off on a 20 date North American tour with DJ Khaled in Late February and has kindly been getting fans in on the action of planning out her tour, starting with her set list. It’s in any artist’s best interest to play their best hits, so Demi recently rounded up her Lovatics in hopes of narrowing down the perfect tour set list. She recently tweeted about putting the list together for her show, asking fans, quote:
“I hate it when fans are unhappy with the set list, help me put it together!! What do ya’ll definitely want to hear”?
Naturally, Lovatics immediately sent in their request and man were these lists lengthy. Among the lists we saw a mix of old and new demi hits and sadly the one that might be getting the boot is definitely a fan favorite!
In an interview with Seventeen, Demi confessed there are some songs she would rather not sing live saying quote:
“I think the one I’m really ready to retire but I’m not going to is ‘Heart attack. I’m not going to because I know a lot of people love that song and it was a big song for my career, so I’m definitely keeping it. But I think I’m ready to retire it a little bit”
Though Demi did say she won’t be doing it, we’re sad to think that this was even a consideration!!!
Then again, for a girl who’s been in the industry for such a long time now, it’s totally understandable for her to have to start making cuts in her shows as far as music goes!
It’s almost been 5 years since we first heard heart attack and Demi has put so much good music out since--so if this does ever happen, hopefully she’ll leave us some good music to cope with!!!
What do you guys think about Demi maybe retiring music from her upcoming shows, is there a song you think she should never stop performing at her shows? ?
