Disney’s Decedants 2 just added a new character to the cast and this villainous offspring comes from NeverLand
Just when we thought we would never see the likes of Captain Hook again… we meet his son. Although he’s super cute so we can let it slide!
Thomas Doherty will be joining the cast of Descendants 2 as the son of Peter Pan’s Captain Hook, Harry. He will round out the cast with Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, and Sofia Carson in the Disney Channel Original Movie sequel. But, this won’t be the first time we’ll see Doherty. The London actor will be making his onscreen debut in the upcoming Disney Channel musical drama series, The Lodge, premiering in Europe this fall. And if his looks weren’t enough, word on the street is he’s also a talented hip-hop dancer and guitarist.
And not only that! Our favorite overly confident Beauty and the Beast character, Gaston had an offspring who will also be introduced in the sequel. Newcomer Dylan Playfair will play Gaston’s son, Gil.
When Descendants 2 was announced Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide said quote, “"Just when you thought 'Happily Ever After' had come to the land of Auradon, Descendants 2 turns the page to reveal a whole new level of mystery and surprise.” Production of the movie starts soon and will debut on the network sometime in 2017.
