Emma Watson speaks out about gender equality during International Women’s Day and lures in some unwelcome internet haters… but don’t worry guys, ya girl got it all under control!
The live-action Beauty and the Beast star made headlines last September after delivering a powerful speech about feminism and general equality at the United Nations, but she made even bigger headlines yesterday after making an appearance on her campaign HeForShe’s webcast during International Women’s Day when Internet trolls posted a countdown threatening to leak naked pictures of her just days after her UN speech. And just wait till you see her reaction to the threats:

So although Emma has preached on about the equality of women, she also wants people to know that being a feminist does not mean being a man-hater. She opens about chivalry and how she thinks it should be consensual. She said, QUOTE, “I love having the door opened for me," she said. "Isn't that just polite? Isn't that just a nice thing to do for someone else?...But I think the key is, would you then mind if I opened the door for you?"
During Sunday’s HeForShe webcast, Emma also revealed how she has shared inspirational advice with her fans on Twitter concerning gender equality, including a fan who’s father said she couldn’t become an engineer because the profession was for “men.” Well, we all know what happens when you fuel Emma’s fire… She replied to her fan, saying, "Argh, just don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do or can and cannot achieve. Just don't allow it. Just do not allow it. It's wrong. It's so wrong. Be whatever you want to be."
