Fans got their revenge on Fifth Harmony by singing Camila Cabello’s hit song, “Havana.”
The Fifth Harmony girls wouldn’t stop to take pictures at the airport, so fans fought dirty.
The idea of going to the airport in hopes of meeting your favorite celebrity may be confusing to some, but others find it exhilarating. There’s no guarantee that celebs will stop to talk or take pictures, but there’s also the possibility that they will and you walk away with an amazing story.
A group of people recently went to the airport in hopes of meeting Fifth Harmony after they got off a flight, but were left super disappointed when the girls came out, smiled and said hello, but kept walking. The waiting fans began following Ally, Normani, Lauren and Dinah, begging them to stop. When they realized the girls weren’t going to, they started to get a little bit nasty.
The group of people shouted things like QUOTE “Camila would never,” and QUOTE “Camila would stop.”
The fans also sang parts of Camila’s single “Havana” as Fifth Harmony and their team walked out of the building.
Other Harmonizers were absolutely furious when they saw this video, because not only does it reflect poorly on the fandom, but it also shows how horribly some people treat even their favorite celebrities.
YouTube star Tyler Oakley saw the video and tweeted QUOTE “yikes at those ‘fans’“
Another person wrote on Twitter QUOTE “in front of fifth harmony's parents and whole security team! like this blows my mind that people actually did this.”
To which someone else replied QUOTE “TRUTH! That video made me so upset i can’t even fathom how the girls must feel. They crossed hella lines, it’s ridiculous.”
Yikes is right. We understand that the fans were disappointed that they didn’t get pictures, but it’s important to remember that the girls were in no way obligated to stop, especially at an airport. Do you think the fans were wrong for getting upset, or should Fifth Harmony have stopped to at least talk for a few seconds? Get the debate going in the comments below.
