Guys, this is not a drill – it’s time to grab your whips and other 50 Shades-ish paraphernalia and hit the streets because word has it EL James’ new book “Grey” has in fact been stolen.
Police are officially already on this case of stolen sexy literature, and in an attempt to stop black marketeers from leaking the book online before it’s official June 18th release. The book comes to us with a title description that reads: Fifty Shades of Grey as told my Christian. Um, wow. Interestingly enough, and if you know the backstory of these books and the fact that they were originally written as Twilight fan-faction – well, interestingly enough, this book is drawing comparisons to Stephanie Meyer’s book “Midnight Sun,” which was the story of Twilight told from Edward’s POV. Stephanie never finished this book because an excerpt was leaked and published online, much to the devastation of Twi-hards everywhere. Obviously this Christian Grey book is already finished so one way or another fans of series will be getting a glimpse into the strange sexiness that is the leading billionaire. But I want to hear from all of you – how uncool is it that this book was leaked? Do you plan to read the leaked version or support EL James and buy a copy on it’s proper release date of June 18th – which did I mention Christian Grey’s birthday? Yeah, full circle here people. And yes, I do realize I’m talking about the birthday of non-living fictional human. So that means it’s time for me to just go away.
