Now that we've come to know every superhero in the Marvel Netflix universe, it's time to see them in action. The first look at The Defenders has been released! The short but sweet teaser features every member of the super squad- Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, & the recently introduced Danny Rand AKA Iron Fist. As the group assemble in an elevator, Danny is noticeably out of breath, while Luke is sporting his signature bullet hole- filled sweatshirt look, so it's safe to say we're not seeing them at a very convenient time. Aaaand.. the teaser also reminds us that Jessica Jones still has zero time for messing around.
Aside from seeing the cast, the teaser also revealed the premiere date! In the top left of the security footage, you can find numbers that, if typed into your computer browser, will direct you to the front page of The New York Bulletin. There, you can read plenty of articles featuring The Defenders, and if you scroll all the way down, you will read:
"Watch Marvel’s The Defenders All Episodes Streaming Only on Netflix August 18.”
