Gaten Matarazzo's girlfriend might be the newest addition to the Stranger Things cast
Does this mean Dustin will finally get a love interest?
Millie Bobby Brown has got everybody talking with her latest Instagram story. Yesterday, the Stranger Things star posted a video of herself riding in a car with her co-star, Gaten Matarazzo, and his girlfriend, Lizzy Yu. Things seemed innocent enough, but what she said has stirred up a bunch of rumors.
As she zoomed in Lizzy, Millie said QUOTE: “Welcome to the family!” and screamed in excitement. Lizzy looked shocked as she put her hand over her mouth and started laughing, while Gaten had a big ol’ smile on his face. Millie also captioned the video QUOTE: “I approve” and tagged Lizzy’s Instagram.

So does this mean that Lizzy will be joining the cast for their upcoming season? It’s more than possible, considering they’re currently shooting the episodes in Jackson, Georgia. She could just be paying a visit to her boyfriend and the crew, but after seeing Millie’s Instagram story, we’re not so sure. Lizzy also happens to be a young thespian herself, so she’s definitely got what it takes to be an actor.
And we’re sure Gaten would be super excited to have his girlfriend on set. His character, Dustin, hasn’t had much luck with the ladies so far on the show, but maybe this is a sign that things are about to turn around for him on season three.
Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until next summer to find out if Lizzy makes an appearance, but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate! What do you guys think?
