If you got all excited about the prospect of a meet-up between Gigi Hadid and Perrie Edwards to discuss Zayn Malik… take a step back cuz there’s no way in hell this is going down… according to Gigi.
Zayn Malik’s super model girl friend sets us straight on a very strange rumor involving his famous ex.
Following Little Mix’s deliciously controversial single “Shout Out to My Ex” which if you heard it you know it ain’t no sweet ballad. It includes some scathing lines about Zayn Malik. Add to that the band’s new autobiography “My World” where Perrie Edwards confirms that Zayn DID in fact break off their engagement through a text. Text etiquette guys!! Then it wasn’t totally far fetched when the interweb claimed that Gigi Hadid wanted to have some girl talk face to face with her man’s ex woman Perrie Edwards to tell her to back off and stop stirring drama… but in nicer terms. According to an insider who spoke to Reveal magazine- which by the way… who are these people? Who’s this insider? And what the F is Reveal magazine?- according to this insider QUOTE "Gigi's asked Zayn to get in touch with Perrie and set up a meeting, just between the two girls, so she can make it clear that she wants her to stop talking about Zayn. She feels she's never going to truly get Perrie out of her and Zayn's life until she meets her face-to-face and sorts things out. She's really keen to assure Perrie that she wasn't with Zayn when he was still in the relationship with her.” Man what people will make up to make a buck. The magazine claims that Zayn has been trying to talk Gigi out of the idea but that QUOTE "[Gigi] thinks a meeting is the most adult way to sort out the continual bitching between them, once and for all." Well, Gigi heard the rumor and understandably got pissed. So she went on a Twitter rant defending herself from these dumb publications that make stuff up and exploit your struggles to make a dime. She slammed the claims no Twitter, writing: "exactly what qualifications does one need to be a "source"?! The amount of BS online, & how much negativity it creates, is truly sad. not just for the people being spoken about, but how you treat each other online sometimes makes me sad.. I nor anyone you support wants that... Rise above it. Spread love." THAT’S the adult way of handling fake stories pinning you and your bf’s ex against each other so kudos to her for taking the high road. As Michelle Obama said, when they go low, we go high. On another hand, that doesn’t dismiss the fact that Perrie IS revealing new not flattering info about the man she once planned on marrying.
