Little Mix Fans Think Perrie Edwards SHADED Gigi Hadid During Concert

So did she, or didn’t she – THAT IS THE QUESTION. Speculation began over the weekend as Little Mix was performing in New Zealand when Perrie began singing “Shout Out To My Ex”, and what many fans quickly noticed was that there may have been a subtle lyrics change.
Any Little Mix fan would know that the lyrics originally say, “Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like I did,” but something apparently set Jade off so much that she began cracking up mid-song, to which many thought she was laughing at Perrie singing, “Hope she ain’t fakin’ it like Hadid…” So right now is where you come in. Get ready to put your best expert ears to the test, because this is one case of shade I can’t seem to crack…
Ok, so let’s back up for a sec – before we move on, I’m gonna need to hear the original version really quick – you know, for research purposes:

So now that we got that out of the way, it’s also evident that whatever Perrie actually said, it then prompted Jade to laugh uncontrollably, to which Perrie then quipped back, “Jade, stop!” However, this clip generated a wave of backlash, as many fans came to Perrie’s defense, but some Zigi fans weren’t all that thrilled.
One fan was sure they heard “Hadid”, saying QUOTE, “Can you believe perrie really said "hope she ain't faking it like hadid" on stage like ??? goals”, while some fans couldn’t hear it at all, as one fan wrote, “can everyone chill perrie literally didn't say hadid. jade was laughing because her voice cracked lmaooooo.”
And then there were some tweets like this one that constituted as a whole new level of fangirl, when one Twitter user compared this situation to another controversy, saying, “Zigis thinking Perrie said “hope she ain't faking it like Hadid” was like larries thinking Louis said “I'm Gay” when he said ‘same day.’”

Clearly the predictions are all over the board, but I just want to put a few things into perspective: For starters, this could have been a slight case of an accent barrier, and seeing that Perrie and Zayn have been broken up for years now, and she seems to also be very occupied in a relationship of her own, the fact that she’d still throw digs at her ex’s new girl are slim to none, but then again, I can’t confirm or deny that I wouldn’t take any opportunity to throw shade at my ex…
ANYWAY, all I know is I’m gonna need some verbal confirmation from Perrie herself, because I’m still unsure as to what she actually said, but I want to hear from you guys – do you really think Perrie threw shade at Gigi, or was Jade just laughing at Perrie’s voice crack?
