You might want to sit down for this one because I’ve got some news that knocked me off my feet. Gigi Hadid just followed Tyler C. from the Bachelorette. And I know what you’re thinking… this is no big deal, allow me to explain why it absolutely is a big deal.
What’s up, guys? It’s Drew Dorsey here with Clevver News and Gigi Hadid just followed Tyler Cameron on Instagram, you know just the hottest guy to ever grace our TV screens, and now he’s officially way out of our league… not that he was ever really in my league, but let me live.
See before Gigi followed him, he was still just a regular guy and arguably somewhat attainable.
But now, with the attention of one of the most famous and beautiful models in the world, there’s no chance that some everyday Jane is gonna get noticed when sliding into his DMs.
And you probably think I’m being dramatic, but there’s proof that Bachelor contestants really can and do end up with huge celebrities.
Exhibit A - Wells Adams from Jojo Fletcher’s season just got engaged to Sarah Hyland from Modern Family.
Now that’s probably the best unintentional ABC cross-promotion ever.
Anyway, back to the significance of Gigi and Tyler, celebs don’t just follow anyone. Gigi has almost 50 million Instagram followers, yet she only follows about 1,000 people.
So Tyler making the coveted list is certainly a big deal.
Don’t think it’s a big deal yet?
Ok well here are some people that Gigi Hadid DOESN’T follow.
Kim Kardashian, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, and Meghan Markle.
So Tyler making the cut is definitely saying something, especially since Gigi and Zayn don’t seem to be getting back together any time soon.
And fans on Twitter are equally overwhelmed by this news.
One person wrote quote, “Welp, there goes my chance #TheBachelorette”
And another said quote, “It gets worse #TheBachelorette”
Revealing that Tyler has also followed Gigi back.
I guess if you’re as big of a celebrity as Gigi, all you’ve gotta do is click a button to make a move on someone.
I’m really curious to see if anything actually comes of this and I just can’t stop imagining how gorgeous their kids would be.
So it’s probably best that you don’t waste any more time day dreaming about Tyler. Go out and meet someone in the real world or on Tinder or where ever people are meeting these days.
