Harry Styles just one upped Prince Harry’s recent engagement announcement by doing something super sweet for everyone to see.
The thing in question? Oh, it was nothing but a sweet little kiss.
It’s safe to say that Lorde is probably the envy of many Harry stans around the world after her and Harry’s little interaction at the ARIA Awards. Let me set up the story for ya. So both Harry and Lorde were up for Best International Artist and when Harry was named the winner of the night, he made his way up to the stage to accept his award…but not before stopping by Lorde’s seat to give her a hug and a couple kisses.
That was probably one of the cutest moments of the night and we weren’t the only ones who thought that.
After the sweet gesture, one fan tweeted, “Not to be dramatic but Harry kissing and hugging Lorde on his way to receive his award just added 30 years to my life.” Another wrote in all caps: “Lorde be getting two kisses from Harry. I am dead. What a gentleman.”
One ARIA viewer gave us all a play-by-play as well as her shocked reaction when she wrote, “Lorde thought Harry was gonna kiss her once so she was about to sit down but he kissed her other cheek. Wow.”
While another wrote, “I guess the excitement I feel about Harry and Lorde kissing at the ARIAs tonight is how most people feel about the royal engagement.” Sorry Prince Harry, Harry and Lorde kissing is just a bigger deal than your exciting engagement to Meghan Markle. I guess you just can’t win them all.
