Harry Styles Leaving 1D For Solo Career? Official Statement!

Rest easy, Directioners -- Harry Styles is NOT leaving One Direction for a solo career. Actually, let's back it up really quickly and break down how these rumors even got started.
Basically, Steve Garrigan -- aka the front band for band Kodaline -- said that he and Harry had recently worked on some music together. He said quote:
"We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio and wrote a song. It was good fun. It could be on his album if he does something, but I don't know. Nothing is set in stone."
Obviously, this simple statement sent fans into a full on frenzy thinking that this meant Harry was about to ditch his 1D lads for a solo career -- a la Justin Timberlake -- but the band's rep is squashing all of those rumors for good, today!
A rep for 1D said in a statement:
"There are no plans for Harry to release any solo music at this time, any writing that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs. It's common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album."
BOOM! And there you have it. We predict it'll be at least a couple more years until they decide to go their own ways. Here is hopin' because we love 1D. Harry don't break up the band!
