Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today that talks with Singapore on reopening of the countries’ borders are still at a very early stage.
Yesterday, Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters that discussions with Singapore on the border reopening have been positive.
He pointed out that if the reopening of borders could not even be done with Malaysia's immediate neighbour, Singapore, then it would be harder to navigate the “green bubble” concept with other Asean countries.
