We’re taking you on a round the world food tour in Panmure, one of our favourite suburbs for eating in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand’s biggest city. Over the next few weeks we’ll be exploring Panmure’s food gems and showcasing the range of cuisines that can be experienced in this community.

In this video we take you behind the scenes of New Zealand’s hottest fried chicken at Peach’s Hot Chicken. Nashville hot chicken prepared using an old secret family recipe with a spice level that promises a religious experience. We share a local stalwart, Master Chinese Restaurant that’s been a Panmure favourite for nearly 20 years, known for their Cantonese roast meats and our tastebuds travel to the South of India via Spiceland Restaurant when we discover a kari dosai- a rare snack from one of India’s most famous food cities. 2. Roast duck, roast pork and char siu at Master Chinese Restaurant and Takeaways, 150 Queens Road, Panmure, Auckland 1072. Open Tuesday to Sunday 11:00am to 9:30pm. Closed Monday.

3. Kari dosa and vada at Spiceland Restaurant, 48 Queens Road, Panmure, Auckland 1072. Open Tuesday to Sunday 11:00am to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
