'I Am Cait' Getting Canceled Due to Poor Ratings?!

No doubt that Caitlyn Jenner is one of the most beloved members of her famous family, so why is no one watching her show??
Caitlyn’s inspirational docu-series, I Am Cait is in danger of cancellation because of low ratings.
It’s extremely ironic that Keeping Up With the Kardashians is literally about nothing but has been on the air for YEARS, but just when the one person who actually has a story gets a show, no one watches it!
But there’s still hope for I Am Cait because E! has not taken any steps toward cancelling just yet but the conversation has started because the show’s ratings have dropped significantly from what was expected.
Before I Am Cait aired, the idea of it being a ratings jackpot was undoubted judging from the overwhelming response from the public with the Diane Sawyer interview and the About Bruce specials on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Over 17 million people watched the Diane Sawyer interview and the About Bruce episodes on the Kardashians brought in the highest ratings of the season! Not to mention that 8 million people tuned in to watch Caitlyn’s first public appearance at the ESPY awards.
While the premiere of I Am Cait performed well for E!, getting the attention of 2.7 million viewers, those numbers dropped significantly for episodes one and two with the second episode only getting 50 percent of episode one’s numbers. But it’s not like the show isn’t good! In fact it’s arguably one of the most important and progressive shows out there right now. So why the heck aren’t people watching it?? Many are attributing the drop in ratings to Caitlyn’s over exposure in the media in the months leading up to the show but also to the fact that I Am Cait doesn’t offer the level of drama and ratchetness as typical reality shows. And don’t get me wrong, I can appreciate some mindless television but when something with actual substance comes along like I Am Cait, people need to pay attention!
