Iggy Azalea Slams Her Label Over Maxim Cover

Yikes, Iggy Azalea calls out the Australian division of her record label for going behind her back.
Apparently her label has been selling photos of Iggy to publications other than the one’s the photos were intended for and without her permission. Not cool
Yesterday Iggy made the issue public tweeting, “Im going to publicly say something to the Australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately. Stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers."
She is referring to the fact that after making it clear to her label that she did not want the photos used, her label took it upon themselves to allow Maxim Australia to re-use photos from a shoot Iggy did back in 2011 for Complex magazine.
In addition to the photo recycling, Iggy insinuated that an interview wasn’t even included in the spread to accompany the images.
Iggy said quote, “maxim Australia, thanks for the love and I'm sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys.”
According to Iggy, this was not the first time her label was disobedient.
Prior to the Maxim Australia incident, allegedly her label also allowed Cosmopolitan Australia to use photos of her without her consent.
Iggy retaliated saying, “A magazine cover deserves an accompanying photo-shoot not a reused image."
And she does have a point. Yes photo-shoots and interviews are more expensive, but who wants to use some other magazine’s leftovers? Have they never seen 13 Going on 30? Hello, that photo recycle look is not cute.
