After a video leaked allegedly showing Jennifer Lawrence dancing on a stripper pole, the superstar took to Facebook to respond.
Once again, Jennifer Lawrence is here to remind us that her narrative is her own, and she is not to be trifled with.
After a video surfaced online that purportedly showed her “ riding a stripper pole, and spanking herself with dollar bills,”, Jennifer reminded us all that videos on the intenet can be misrepresented VERY easily. JLAW, no stranger to strangers judging her sexuality based on stolen or illegally obtained material, explained what went down in this Facebook post:
Nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet. It was one of my best friend’s birthdays and I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun.
So yeah, JLaw was in Vienna filing the upcoming spy thriller Red Sparrow, one of her best friends had a birthday celebration at the Beverly Hills Club and so she tried her hand at pole dancing. That’s it. And to all of the people out there who wanted her to say sorry for being a 26 year old at a birthday party, she had this to say:
