Joey King TEASES Possible Kissing Booth Sequel

Good news, Kissing Booth fans, because Netflix may be coming out with a sequel.
Hey! We didn’t say it! …Joey King did!
Ever since The Kissing Booth first came to Netflix, fans of the movie, us included, have been dying to know whether or not there will be a sequel. Well, thanks to a new interview that Joey King did with Seventeen, we may finally have our answer!
As we all know, the first movie left us with a pretty big cliffhanger ending and a LOT of different possibilities, leading us to believe that it would be silly NOT to have a sequel, and from the sound of it, it seems like Joey agrees!
Joey told Seventeen, QUOTE, “Of course, I think everyone, including myself wants to see Elle and Noah stay together. I feel like Elle and Noah should stay together and get into the theme park business together and we a power couple who builds theme parks.” LOL.
While it’s unclear at this point whether or not THAT will happen, Joey did make it pretty clear that she’d love to work with the cast again, and maybe even on a sequel!
She said, QUOTE, “I would love to work with everyone again. If the opportunity arose, who knows, right? Something could happen. Something might. I don’t know. If there was a sequel, I have no idea. I’m like the last to know anything.”
Joey then started talking about potential plotlines for a sequel, reiterating to Seventeen that she hopes Elle and Noah would stay together and that she would go visit him at college. She said, QUOTE, “Of course, there has to be some crazy things that get out of hand, but I don’t know.” She also said that a lot of the original characters would need to be a part of it, like the OMG Girls and Tuppen. Wow… we couldn’t agree more!
We have to be honest… the more she talked about it, the more we started to feel like a sequel simply HAS to be in the works. Plus, according to the Netflix Programming chief Ted Sarandos, The Kissing Booth is one of the, QUOTE, “most watched movies in the world right now.” And, let’s be real, who DOESN’T want to see more of Joey and Jacob Elordi’s on-screen and off-screen romance unfold in a sequel? We know we do!
