Joey King opens up and reveals exactly how she and Jacob Elordi found love through their film ‘The Kissing Booth.’
Joey and Jacob are basically the Miley and Liam of 2018.
It’s no surprise that Netflix’s ‘The Kissing Booth’ has become a huge hit on the internet, but the one thing that people are more obsessed with than the film is the real life love story that came from it.
In case you all have been living under a rock, the film’s lead stars, Joey King and Jacob Elordi actually started dating during the production of the movie – their whole situation is totally Miley and Liam circa The Last Song – anyway, now Joey is opening up about the moment it all happened.
In an interview with Rogue Magazine, Joey revealed the moment she realized she had major real life chemistry with Jacob. She said QUOTE, “I think after spending two months in the beautiful land of South Africa with both Joel and Jacob, it just was so clear how important they both were to me. They became my best friends and I would go to them for anything. But yes, Jacob is such a special person and being the Elle to his Noah was unforgettable. There was no ‘moment’ even though people keep asking us that, it was just so refreshingly natural.”
Well, there you have it. Joey and Jacob’s relationship just progressed naturally from being strictly platonic friends to a beautiful and romantic relationship.
