Goodbye Adele, helloo Justin Bieber. So far, 2016 is already proving to be a great year for the Biebs. Just 12 days into the New Year and Justin has nabbed his second number 1 hit!
Congratulations are in order for JB! After spending a total of eight weeks at number two on Billboard’s Hot 100, Justin’s single ‘Sorry’ has successfully made its way to the very top of the charts, making this his second number 1 hit! But, let’s get real for a quick second, as hot as Hello is, this was a long time coming. Maybe a little too long. Billboard revealed that ‘Sorry,’ aside from Outkast’s song ‘The Way You Move,’ actually spent the most weeks at number two before reaching the number one spot.
But, being number 1 isn’t the only thing Justin is celebrating! His track ‘Love Yourself’ also made it onto the chart, ranking at number 3. So, essentially on the Hot 100 chart, Adele has found herself in the middle of a JB sandwich and I have a feeling she isn’t mad about that at all. I mean, I wouldn’t be!
So, what do you guys think? Are you happy Justin has achieved his second number 1 or do you think Adele should’ve spent a little more time at number 1 on the chart? Let me know in the comment section below! When you’re done with that, click right over here to check out the seven times Justin talked about Selena in 2015.
